PET-CT

Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET-CT) helps physicians provide an accurate and automatic diagnosis for the staging and treatment of cancer.

Also used for breast cancer detection, PET-CT is Central Florida's only non-invasive diagnostic tool used to screen advanced breast cancer, often with greater accuracy than conventional imaging, and helps radiologists identify mammograms that may warrant a second review. IMRT Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)

Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) treats irregularly shaped lesions in the direct vicinity of critical structures. Available at several convenient locations throughout Central Florida the advantages of High Resolution IMRT include:

Highly accurate, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) is Central Florida's only computerized mammography technology that combines the highest level of your comfort with fewer side effects than standard radiation therapy.

Highly accurate in sparing normal tissue and able to treat tumors near critical areas, IMRT decreases the radiation dose of a mammogram.

Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy

This procedure allows surgeons to determine which lymph nodes are easily affected by cancer and only remove them. The procedure often spares patients the unnecessary removal of lymph nodes, making surgery less physically traumatic.
